ROLE PURPOSE/ SUMMARY
To provide SERVICE EXCELLENCE to our customers and colleagues by
building a deep understanding of their needs, requirements and
expectations and consistently meeting, managing and exceeding their
expectations in a professional, courteous and respectful manner.
On behalf of the Department of Children, Equality, Disability,
Integration and Youth, Pobal manage a range of funding programmes and
supports for over 4,**Apply on the website** Early Learning & Care &
School Age Services in Ireland as part of First 5 ? the whole of
Government strategy to improve the lives of babies, young children and
their families.
Early Years Operations is structured into three hubs as follows:
Service Development Hub; Funding & Supports Hub & the Service Delivery
Hub.
A core responsibility of the Service Development Hub ? is Programme
Design, Development and ongoing management along with oversight of the
Project Management Office and Business Systems & Controls team
Working within the Service Development Hub, the Programme Design &
Implementation Manager is the programme owner on behalf of Pobal
managing the programme across the lifecycle from design and planning
for implementation to full operationalisation. The responsibility for
programme delivery extends across a range of operational teams in
Pobal therefore the PDI Manager role is critical to ensuring effective
implementation and reporting.
The Manager is also responsible for developing the programme knowledge
and leading the processing of programme changes, as well as managing
design and implementation challenges.
